470 Seoul COVID-19 Cases by 6 PM... 82 Fewer Than Previous Day
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-seon] Seoul City announced that the number of new COVID-19 cases in Seoul was preliminarily counted as 470 from 0:00 to 18:00 on the 9th. This is 82 fewer than the 552 cases reported the previous day (8th).
The daily number of confirmed cases in Seoul surged from the 23rd of last month, reaching a record high of 1,222 on the 24th, then continuously decreased for six days from the 29th to the 4th of this month, down to 521 cases. After the Gaecheonjeol holiday ended, the number increased to 836 on the 6th, but returned to a downward trend on the 7th and 8th.
