Lotte Confectionery Holds Consumer Participation Donation Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Lotte Confectionery announced on the 8th that it will launch a consumer participation donation event called the ‘Pepero Donation Photo Studio.’
This event involves consumers posting photos or videos related to Pepero, and Lotte Confectionery will donate products to child welfare organizations based on the number of such posts. Participation is done by uploading posts on Instagram with hashtags such as ‘#Pepero’ and ‘#PeperoDonationPhotoStudio.’
Participants will have a chance to win prizes through a draw, including a Canon Inspic S2 photo printer and a disposable camera kit featuring Pepero Friends characters. The event runs until the 24th of this month, and winners will be announced on the 27th. Donated products are scheduled to be delivered to organizations such as Save the Children and the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation in early November.
