Ddokdak Obtains Patent for 'Pre-Consultation Service'
Patent on Method and System for Providing Pre-Questionnaire Form Completion
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Vibros (CEO Song Yong-beom), which operates the mobile medical appointment reservation service 'Ddokdak,' announced on the 8th that it has obtained a patent for the 'Method and System for Providing Pre-Questionnaire Completion.'
The main content of this patent concerns the method of providing patients with a mobile questionnaire in advance and automatically transmitting the questionnaire results to the hospital's Electronic Medical Record (EMR) program. It also includes a method for automatically sending the questionnaire details in the required submission format when hospitals need to submit them to medical-related institutions such as health checkup billing systems.
As the spread of COVID-19 has increased the number of patients wanting to reduce their time spent at hospitals, the pre-questionnaire service has received great response from both hospitals and patients. In September, the average number of uses per hospital for the pre-questionnaire service increased by 41% compared to the same period last year, and the total usage of the top 10 hospitals increased by 72%. Additionally, the hospital with the highest usage saw a more than threefold increase from an average of 51 cases per day to 155 cases.
