Pre-Order Results Show ‘iPhone 13 Pro’ Model as Most Popular
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] SK Telecom officially launches and begins selling the ‘iPhone 13’ series starting from the 8th at T World stores and the official online mall T Direct Shop.
SK Telecom announced that the iPhone 13 series, which began pre-orders on the 1st, received enthusiastic customer interest, with the first batch of pre-orders at T Direct Shop selling out in 9 minutes and some popular models in the second batch selling out within 5 minutes.
During the pre-order period at T Direct Shop, the ‘iPhone 13 Pro’ accounted for more than 50% of the total pre-order volume, making it the most popular model. By color, the newly released Sierra Blue was the most chosen for the iPhone 13 Pro and ‘iPhone 13 Pro Max,’ while Pink and Starlight were the most selected colors for the ‘iPhone 13’ and ‘iPhone 13 mini.’
SK Telecom implemented early morning delivery and same-day courier service for the first batch of iPhone 13 series pre-order customers, allowing them to receive their devices on the release date, the 8th. The company also plans to deliver devices to second batch pre-order customers as quickly as possible.
For customers purchasing the iPhone 13 series, SK Telecom prepared various benefits including ▲Apple products such as AirPods Pro, MagSafe Duo Charger, iMac, MacBook Air, and iPad Pro ▲discount coupons for genuine iPhone accessories ▲limited edition ‘0 X Mobeer Works’ goods ▲and discounts of up to 1 million KRW.
To coincide with the launch of the iPhone 13 series, SK Telecom prepared various events at the ICT multiplex T Factory located in Hongdae. On the second floor Apple Zone of T Factory, customers can freely experience all models of the iPhone 13 series.
Additionally, a class is held daily for 13 customers to guide them on the new features of the iPhone 13 and how to use it for shooting and editing. This program is available by reservation through the T Factory website. Customers who participate in the class will have a chance to win prizes through a quiz event, including ▲iPad Air and Apple Pencil (1 winner) ▲AirPods Pro (4 winners) ▲Apple genuine power adapters and cables (20 winners).
Moreover, SK Telecom plans to hold various events such as inviting ‘ADOY’ to T Factory for an online mini-concert at 8 PM on the 15th.
