According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 7th, only 5 new COVID-19 cases were reported overnight, resulting in a total of 13 confirmed cases in Gwangju on the 6th.
Among the 6 newly classified cases, 2 were confirmed positive through tests conducted after symptoms appeared during quarantine.
They were classified as cases 5109 to 5121. One case is related to an administrative order for a job placement agency, 2 cases are related to existing confirmed patients, 1 case is related to an entertainment facility in Seo-gu, and 1 case is related to a confirmed patient in Jinju, Gyeongnam.
Since the 3rd, Gwangju has shown a trend of confirmed cases as 13 → 15 → 16 → 13, indicating a calming trend.
