Changwon City Hosts the 9th Women's Human Rights Film Festival at CGV Changwon The City
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Sang-hyun] Changwon City, Gyeongnam announced on the 5th that it will hold the 9th Changwon Women's Human Rights Film Festival with the women's rights organization 'Changwon Yeoseongui Jeonhwa' under the slogan 'Relay' from the 14th to the 16th at CGV Changwon The City.
This women's human rights film festival is conducted as a 2021 Changwon City Gender Equality Fund public project, aiming to raise awareness of discrimination, violence, and hatred against women and to promote a culture that supports the survival and healing of victims.
The films to be screened at the festival include 11 works, starting with the opening film 'Baekya' which deals with violence against women, followed by 'Meorikarak' (Hair), 'Women in Hollywood', and the closing film 'Urineun Maeilmaeil' (We Every Day). A Q&A session with the audience is also planned after the screenings.
Admission to the film screenings is free, and viewing is by advance reservation, which can be made by applying to the Changwon Yeoseongui Jeonhwa Secretariat.
