Yeongam Fire Station Volunteer Fire Brigade Wins 'Excellence Award' at Jeollanam-do Lecture and Contest

View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Volunteer firefighters Yoon Hee-ho and Kim Ok-ye from Yeongam Fire Station, Jeollanam-do (Chief Park Hak-soon) won the grand prize in the ‘Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) category’ at the 2021 Jeollanam-do Volunteer Firefighters Lecture Contest held on the 1st at the Jangheung-gun Integrated Medical Convention Center.
According to Yeongam Fire Station on the 5th, this contest, hosted by the Jeonnam Fire Headquarters, featured 11 elite volunteer firefighter teams selected from various regions of Jeollanam-do (5 teams in the Life Safety category and 6 teams in the CPR category) competing in lecture contests.
On that day, volunteer firefighters Yoon Hee-ho and Kim Ok-ye, who participated in the ‘CPR category,’ competed under the theme ‘Life is a Gift’ and were honored with the grand prize for their smooth lecture delivery and well-structured, engaging presentation.
The grand prize winners Yoon Hee-ho and Kim Ok-ye will represent Jeollanam-do at the ‘National Volunteer Firefighters Lecture Contest’ to be held in November.
