Paradise Hotel Busan Participates as Official Sponsor of the 26th Busan International Film Festival
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Paradise Hotel Busan announced on the 5th that, as a major sponsor, it will support side events of the Asia Contents Awards, Asia Film Awards, and Asia Contents & Film Market, which will be held respectively from the 6th to the 15th. The events will be conducted strictly adhering to quarantine guidelines considering the COVID-19 situation.
Paradise Hotel Busan explained that it has grown alongside the Busan International Film Festival since its inception in 1996. From the 1st to the 14th festival, it supported the festival annually together with Paradise Group affiliates, and in 2019, it returned as the official headquarters hotel of the Busan International Film Festival after 12 years. It has successfully hosted major banquet events and served as a star house for domestic and international actors and film industry personnel visiting the festival. This year, it is participating as a major sponsor.
A representative of Paradise Hotel Busan said, "As Haeundae’s leading luxury hotel celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, we have strived for the development of the Busan International Film Festival based on our experience hosting various international events," adding, "We will successfully conclude a safe and dignified event to live up to the reputation of Korea’s representative film festival."

The 26th Busan International Film Festival will be held in Busan for ten days from the 6th to the 15th, screening a total of 223 works from 70 countries. Unlike last year, which was significantly scaled down due to COVID-19, this year’s festival will proceed as usual with opening and closing ceremonies and side events, while complying with quarantine guidelines.
