[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Emart announced that it will launch the 'Jeong'deun Doenjang Ramen' meal kit, jointly developed with Hyundai Card, nationwide at Emart stores and on SSG.com starting from the 30th.
The price is 12,800 KRW (serves 2). During October, a 30% discount is applied when paying with Hyundai Card, making the price 8,960 KRW. The newly introduced 'Jeong'deun Doenjang Ramen' features a doenjang paste rich with beef, combined harmoniously with napa cabbage, shiitake mushrooms, green onions, and a soft-boiled egg, delivering a deep and refreshing flavor.
Emart stated that 'Jeong'deun Doenjang Ramen' was born from a meeting between Vice Chairman Jeong Yong-jin of Shinsegae Group and Vice Chairman Jeong Tae-young of Hyundai Card during a business consultation. At this meeting, Vice Chairman Jeong Tae-young introduced his own recipe for doenjang ramen, and Vice Chairman Jeong Yong-jin responded enthusiastically, leading both companies to officially begin product development.
