"Taekwondo Classes Also Online" KT Ranseon Edu Expands Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Seulgina Jo] KT announced on the 30th that it will expand the service scope of its next-generation online education platform, KT Ranseon Edu, from the existing focus on entrance exam and tutoring academies to arts and physical education fields, as well as corporate·association education sites.
KT Ranseon Edu is currently provided through partnerships with academy ERP and CRM operators, allowing seamless real-time video classes without the hassle of installing separate programs by linking with the academy management systems already used in the academy industry. It has been praised for accelerating the digital transformation of the academy market by incorporating education-specialized features that consider the class environment, such as attendance management, class participation, real-time quizzes, presentations, and learning notes.
KT is promoting cooperation with two edutech companies: ‘Abad,’ which provides the smart attendance management ERP service ‘EduFamily’ to entrance exam and tutoring academies as well as foreign language and arts academies, and ‘MalgeunSoft,’ an e-learning platform specialist company that provides LMS services to public institutions, associations, corporations, and universities. This collaboration will enable convenient online classes in a wider range of educational fields.
Accordingly, arts and physical education academies can newly reorganize their existing class environments by introducing real-time parent observation classes, and in the e-learning sector, instructors and students are expected to communicate interactively in an online environment, enjoying a class environment similar to actual offline settings.
Meanwhile, since last year, KT has been providing KT Ranseon Edu to schools nationwide, small and medium academies, as well as digital Daesung’s online class service ‘Daechi in live,’ ESG projects ‘Ranseon Night School,’ and ‘Seoul Run.’ By consolidating the experience accumulated in educational sites and its own digital platform capabilities, KT continues to advance the sophistication of online education services. In the second half of this year, an AI-based learning attitude analysis feature will be newly added to the KT Ranseon Edu service for small and medium academies.
