Jogyuil Jinju Mayor Engages with Local Youth... Meets Young Artists and Creators
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] On the 27th, Mayor Jo Gyu-il spent time with six members of Jinju Contents Lab at a cafe in Jinju Fortress for the 'September Date with Citizens' event.
Jinju Contents Lab is a group of young writers and creators based in the Jinju area, supporting video and content information exchange as well as providing education related to production.
Recently, as part of a youth community revitalization project, they have been conducting various activities such as a photo exhibition through plogging (an environmental movement involving picking up trash while jogging) and photographing abandoned dogs.
On this day, members of Jinju Contents Lab suggested the need for a complex cultural space where local writers and creators can collaborate and communicate, as well as requested business support from Jinju City for content or video production.
