Hwasun-gun to Recruit 'Youth Council Members' Until the 12th of Next Month
[Hwasun=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Ji-woon] Jeollanam-do Hwasun-gun (Governor Gu Chung-gon) announced on the 29th that the recruitment of members for the ‘3rd Hwasun-gun Youth Council,’ who are interested in youth policies and actively participate in county administration, has been extended until the 12th of next month.
The ‘Hwasun-gun Youth Council’ is a consultative body that serves as a communication channel between youth and Hwasun-gun, reflecting the diverse voices of local youth in county administration and playing a role in discovering and establishing new youth policies.
Since its launch in 2017, the Youth Council has been composed of four divisions: ▲Jobs ▲Human Resource Development ▲Culture ▲Welfare.
The 2nd Youth Council has carried out various activities such as policy analysis by division, monitoring, discussions and workshops for discovering new policies, and meetings for the establishment of a youth center, and its two-year term will end next month.
Applicants must be youth aged 18 to 47 residing in the county, and anyone who is usually interested in youth policies or wishes to contribute to improving the quality of life for youth can apply.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the Population Policy Team of the Planning and Audit Office at the county office or by email.
A county official said, “We ask for active participation to promote policies tailored to the perspective of youth by reflecting their fresh ideas.”
