First COVID-19 Case Confirmed at the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials (공수처)
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] The High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Unit (PCC) has reported its first confirmed case of COVID-19.
According to the PCC and the Gwacheon Government Complex Management Office of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety on the 27th, one PCC employee working in Building 5 of the complex tested positive for COVID-19 in the afternoon. This is the first confirmed case since the PCC was launched on January 21 of this year.
The management office urgently disinfected all PCC offices and common areas. About 10 employees working in the same department underwent specimen testing and were instructed to stay at home. It is reported that all of them tested negative.
