Daejeon City Strengthens City Bus Disinfection by Deploying Public Workers
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Daejeon City announced on the 27th that it will select 132 public workers to carry out disinfection activities on city buses from next month until the end of the year.
The selected public workers were recruited through an open call earlier this month and received preliminary training on the importance of city bus disinfection, disinfection methods, working conditions, and duties at the former Chungnam Provincial Office main conference room.
The city plans to assign these public workers to 19 city bus starting points and divide them into two shifts, morning and afternoon, to disinfect a total of 984 city buses.
The city bus disinfection project will continue until the end of the COVID-19 pandemic.
