View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yu Seong-hoon) held a meeting with the elected representatives of the Youth General Election on the 25th at the Geumcheon-gu Cheongchun Building.
At the meeting, Yu Seong-hoon, Mayor of Geumcheon-gu, congratulated the representatives of the four policy parties elected as members in the Youth General Election and took time to discuss opinions on each party's pledges.
The pledges by party included ▲placing street trash bins to encourage habitual waste separation and prohibit illegal dumping ▲opening a KakaoTalk channel to provide youth-related information ▲non-face-to-face online career experiences ▲holding a contest to replace school restroom signs.
Geumcheon-gu operates a Youth Council to realize the guarantee of civic rights for youth. The Youth Participation Committee formed policy parties and conducted the Youth General Election from August 23 to 27, electing 20 Youth Council members according to the proportion of party votes.
