‘Growing Future Gardeners’ … Ulsan ‘Taehwagang National Garden Future Gardeners’ Experiential Education Pilot Operation
First-Come, First-Served Registration for 150 Elementary School 5th-6th Graders
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yong-woo] Ulsan City will pilot the "Future Gardener Experience Program" for three days from October 9 to 11 at Taehwagang National Garden.
This event was prepared to help cultivate children's emotions through specialized history education and experiential event operations based on nature and gardens.
The main activities include watching a national garden video and taking quizzes with the operator, capturing instant photos while listening to explanations from garden guides throughout the national garden, and experiencing planting mini chrysanthemums in a personalized flowerpot decorated by hand.
The experience is targeted at 5th and 6th-grade elementary school students residing in Ulsan City, recruiting about 150 participants. It will be operated six times in total over three days, divided into morning and afternoon sessions, with each experience lasting about three hours.
Participants will be recruited on a first-come, first-served basis from September 27 to October 8 for 150 spots.
To participate, applicants must fill out and submit the online application form available on the Ulsan City and National Garden websites.
