[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] The Seocho District Council (Chairperson Kim Ansook) visited five social welfare facilities, including Daniel Welfare Center, on the 16th and 17th ahead of the Chuseok holiday to deliver relief supplies and share the warm spirit of Chuseok.
Members of the Seocho District Council visited five locations: Daniel Welfare Center, Umyeon Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, Sinmangae House, Korea Veterans Association for Agent Orange Victims, and Saebit Paul House, delivering 90 bags of Suncheonman new rice (10kg each).
In particular, the relief supplies were purchased through local retail businesses to revitalize the local economy, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, and to support farmers who have endured difficult times caused by abnormal weather such as heatwaves.
