BNK Financial Group Provides 285 Million KRW for 'BNK Happiness Scholarship'

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] BNK Financial Group announced on the 23rd that it delivered 285 million KRW of the 'BNK Happiness Scholarship' to the Busan Community Chest of Korea at the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education to foster future local talents.
The 'BNK Happiness Scholarship' is a scholarship project promoted by the BNK Hope Sharing Foundation, a public interest foundation of BNK Financial, to nurture outstanding local talents and support exemplary students. Since 2007, it has provided a total of over 6.9 billion KRW in academic encouragement funds to more than 7,600 students.

At the delivery ceremony, the BNK Hope Sharing Foundation awarded scholarships of up to 2 million KRW per person to a total of 195 students, including 185 exemplary students recommended by 25 universities located in Busan, Gimhae, and Yangsan, the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, local children's centers, and the Child Welfare Association, as well as 10 outstanding students from the Korea Science Academy of KAIST.
