60-Year-Old Arrested for Wielding Weapon at Junk Dealer After "Trash Flies Over" Incident
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 60s who wielded a weapon at a junk dealer because trash was flying over was arrested by the police.
Seoul Yangcheon Police Station announced on the 21st that Mr. A has been booked and is under investigation on charges of aggravated assault.
According to the police, on the morning of the 19th, Mr. A went to a junk dealer to protest because trash was flying into the villa where he lives, and is accused of wielding a weapon at the junk dealer owner.
Mr. A is also under investigation for wielding a weapon at three elderly people who tried to stop him. The victims are reported to have sustained minor injuries.
