The number of people traveling for Chuseok this year is expected to increase to 32.26 million, up from last year, due to expanded vaccination and partial easing of social distancing measures. This represents a 3.5% increase compared to the 31.16 million who traveled during last year's Chuseok. It is projected that up to 6.26 million people will travel on the day of Chuseok.
