Changwon National University-Gyeongnam Ramsar Environment Foundation, Agreement for Creating a Sustainable Local Community
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheol-in] On the 16th, Changwon National University announced on the 17th that it signed a "Memorandum of Understanding for the Creation of a Sustainable Local Community" with the Gyeongsangnam-do Ramsar Environment Foundation at the Grand Mercure Ambassador Changwon Hotel.
The signing ceremony was attended by President Lee Ho-young and CEO Jeon Jeom-seok, who signed the agreement. According to the agreement, both organizations will collaborate in the fields of education and research related to Gyeongnam's environment, including fostering specialized talent for wetland and environmental conservation in the region, internship and employment exchanges, and various research and analysis related to wetlands and the environment.
Jeon Jeom-seok, CEO of the Ramsar Environment Foundation, said, "Through this MOU with Changwon National University, a cradle for nurturing outstanding local talent, we expect the activation of various engineering and humanities research utilizing global wetland resources and environmental characteristics. Through this, we hope to establish a virtuous cycle structure where the university's research capabilities are strengthened and talent grows."
