It has become possible to easily inspect wide areas and tall structures that were previously impossible or required a lot of time using conventional methods. In particular, quantitative risk assessment is possible by using not only simple photography but also thermal imaging cameras and 3D surveying cameras.
The drones are planned to be used at large business sites, construction sites, accident sites, and natural disaster areas, and it is expected that human, material, and social losses can be prevented in advance at these sites. DB Insurance explained that on the 8th, it conducted its first drone survey at the solar power facility in Taean, completing the inspection of 40,000 panels in just two hours.
