Information on Nationwide Public Parking Lots Open for Free from the 18th to 22nd

A total of 14,237 public parking lots nationwide will be open free of charge during this Chuseok holiday period, and this information can be checked through Gongyoonuri and the Public Data Portal. Information on free parking lots open during the Chuseok holiday can be accessed via the Gongyoonuri website or the Gongyoonuri mobile app. In particular, a popup titled ‘Chuseok Holiday Free Parking Lot Guide’ is posted on the main page of the Gongyoonuri website to make it easy for anyone to use.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety plans to provide the holiday free parking lot information announced this time in file data format through the Public Data Portal so that the public can utilize it in various ways. Since February, the Gongyoonuri mobile app has been launched, providing real-time location-based public open resource information to enhance user convenience.
Additionally, through the Gongyoonuri service, the Ministry continues to provide necessary information for COVID-19 response, such as the ‘Quarantine Supplies Rental Service’ and ‘Free Parking Lot Information Service around Screening Clinics and Vaccination Centers.’ Since June, information on about 560 national and public camping sites and recreational forests nationwide has been provided, and since July, information on about 42,000 heatwave shelters nationwide has been offered.
