Jo Dosun, the current non-standing director of the National Institute of Ecology, has been appointed as the director of the National Institute of Ecology. On the 15th, the Ministry of Environment announced that Jo, the non-standing director, was appointed as the director of the National Institute of Ecology, an affiliated institution.
The newly appointed director Jo graduated from Jinju High School, earned a bachelor's degree in botany and a master's degree in plant ecology from Seoul National University, and obtained a Ph.D. in plant ecology from Ohio State University in the United States.
