[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Samsung Electronics will launch the 'Galaxy Watch4 Golf Edition' equipped with the 'Smart Caddie' application (app) that provides a smart golf experience in South Korea on the 15th.
The Galaxy Watch4 Golf Edition offers precise distance measurement functions reflecting elevation differences and green undulation information through the Smart Caddie app. However, elevation difference information is only provided for golf courses in Korea.
It also provides data on over 40,000 golf courses worldwide based on actual measurements, satellite maps, and aerial photos, course attack guides through green distance and shot history checks, and automatic hole information recognition features.
The Galaxy Watch4 Golf Edition supports Bluetooth and is available in a 44mm model in black and a 40mm model in silver. The prices are 329,000 KRW and 299,000 KRW, respectively. LTE-supported models will be released later.
The product can be purchased on the Samsung Electronics website, Samsung Digital Plaza, the online golf shopping mall 'Golfing', and Golfzon Market.
A Samsung Electronics official said, "With the Galaxy Watch4 Golf Edition offering various convenient features, consumers who enjoy golf will be able to have a more enjoyable round," adding, "We hope everyone enjoys the best golf life this autumn, the season for golf."
