"From Overseas Luxury Goods to Gold Rings" Lotte Home Shopping Focuses on High-End Products Targeting 'Holiday Stay-at-Home' Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Lotte Homeshopping announced on the 15th that it will hold the 'Gold Moon Week' event, focusing on premium products such as luxury goods, jewelry, and furniture, and offering discount benefits from the 16th to target 'home stayers' during the Chuseok holiday.
Analyzing product demand around last Lunar New Year(February 1?14), Lotte Homeshopping found that orders for precious metals increased about threefold compared to usual, furniture doubled, and luxury goods grew by about 40%, indicating a rise in high-priced product purchases. It was analyzed that the trend of non-face-to-face shopping during holidays and the influence of compensatory psychology increased preference for self-investment products. Accordingly, a holiday shopping event will be held focusing on premium products during the holiday period, providing various benefits such as discount coupons and reward points.
From the 16th to the 22nd, the 'Gold Moon Week' event will continuously showcase differentiated quality products such as overseas luxury brands, jewelry, and premium furniture. On the 17th at 11:35 a.m., overseas luxury brand accessories including 'Bottega Veneta sunglasses,' 'Burberry bucket bag,' and 'Etro handbag' will be offered at up to 45% discount. On the 18th at 12:40 p.m., Italian luxury brand 'Gucci' products such as 'Flower wool shawl' and 'handbags' will also be available. On the 21st at 8:15 a.m., the fashion program 'Lee Sujeong Shop' will sell 'Noble Dia 18K rings.' In addition, furniture such as 'Emons sofa' and popular home appliances like 'LG CordZero cordless vacuum cleaner' and 'Samsung UHD TV' will be showcased. During the event period, discount coupons will be provided daily on a first-come, first-served basis to 13,000 customers. Customers accessing the event page will receive coupons worth a total of 350 million KRW daily, divided into Gold (10,000 KRW), Silver (5,000 KRW), and Bronze (3,000 KRW) categories.
On mobile TV 'ELive,' differentiated products such as fashion and luxury goods will be featured for 10 days starting from the 20th. On the 23rd at 5 p.m., items including 'Saint James T-shirts' and on the 26th at 6 p.m., 'Tomboy trench coats' will be introduced as highly versatile autumn fashion items. On the 27th at 8 p.m., a 'Luxury Special Broadcast' targeting post-holiday compensatory psychology will be held, showcasing selected autumn items from overseas luxury brands such as 'Gucci shawls' and 'Burberry handbags.' During the event, customers purchasing fashion and accessories will also be eligible for up to 10% reward points.
