MPICO "Court Grants Injunction Prohibiting General Meeting"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunseok Yoo] MP Corporation announced on the 14th that the court has accepted the injunction request to prohibit the holding of the 'extraordinary general meeting of shareholders.'
The Uijeongbu District Court issued a decision to 'accept' the injunction request for the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of HumanN filed by MMR Global and Seok Doseon the previous day, and decided to prohibit the meeting.
However, the court dismissed the injunction request filed separately by Infinium Investment against MMR Global and Seok Doseon to prohibit the exercise of voting rights.
MMR Global is effectively the largest shareholder as a member of the Connected Alliance Fund, the current largest shareholder of HumanN, holding most of the shares.
According to the decision document, the court found procedural defects in the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders and the board meeting of HumanN based on ▲ convening the board without a proper request ▲ convening the board by an unauthorized person ▲ manipulation of the total number of members ▲ blocking the former HumanN CEO from entering the board meeting.

Additionally, the court ruled that the board resolution on May 24, which dismissed former CEO Lee Kyung-soon and appointed Lee Dae-sik as CEO, is 'null and void.' For the same reasons, the court also judged the board meetings held on July 30, August 27, and September 2 to be invalid. The court also prohibited the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders scheduled for the 17th.
