Nonghyup Hanaro Mart is holding a special discount event for Chuseok gift sets from the 6th to the 20th of this month, offering discounts on over 1,200 products including agricultural, livestock, and marine gift sets, popular processed foods, and daily necessities gift sets. When paying with event cards, discounts of up to 39% are available. The event also features a higher proportion of gift sets under 50,000 KRW, an N+1 promotion where the same product is given additionally, affiliated card discounts, and the distribution of Nongchon Sarang gift certificates. For customers purchasing through the online Nonghyup Mall and e-Hanaro Mart, there are online-exclusive events and promotions for gift sets at affordable prices.
At Nonghyup Mall, the Nonghyup Card special event offers up to 20% discount (up to 15,000 KRW) when paying with a Nonghyup Card for gift sets such as abalone and Korean beef. The KB Card special event offers up to 20% discount (up to 15,000 KRW) on health functional foods and mixed apple and pear sets. When purchasing gift sets through e-Hanaro Mart and paying with event cards, customers can buy at prices discounted up to 39%, the same as in-store events. Products marked with a bonus icon allow customers to receive additional gift sets such as 1+1 or 2+1.
A special discount event for ritual food items has also been underway since the 13th. Nonghyup Hanaro Mart is minimizing price increases on holiday ritual food items and selling about 200 products at discounts of up to 55%.
Additionally, since the 1st of this month, Nonghyup has been operating a supply and demand countermeasure situation room to stabilize Chuseok shopping basket prices. The situation room monitors the supply status of holiday seasonal products and plays a role in expanding contract cultivation volumes for focused supply. It also maintains a cooperative system with related organizations such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs to ensure no disruption in the supply of agricultural and livestock products.
