Seoul City Hosts 'Youth Job Fair' in Water Industry Sector... Held Both Online and Offline
From Job Information Provision to Recruitment Support in One Place... Over 50 Companies Hiring 125 Positions
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] To revitalize the labor market, which has been stagnant due to COVID-19, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 14th that it will hold the ‘Water Industry Youth Job Fair’ from the 15th to October 31st. About 50 hiring companies from manufacturing, construction, facility operation, design, and engineering sectors will recruit 125 people.
The ‘Water Industry Job Fair’ includes companies selected for the Seoul Water Industry Innovation Technology R&D support project, as well as major construction companies with extensive experience in sewage treatment facility construction such as Daewoo Construction, Lotte Construction, POSCO Construction, Hyundai Construction, and DL E&C. Job seekers can choose and consult with companies by sector, from construction firms to engineering and environmental companies.
Seoul City will not only accept online applications but also hold face-to-face sessions on October 7th and 8th at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza’s Eoullim Square, considering the strong desire of young job seekers to receive direct counseling.
The fair’s program consists of consultation and exhibition booths, employment lectures, career exploration, and resume photo shoots. At the consultation booths, HR managers from companies will introduce their recruitment plans and provide employment counseling to young job seekers, while the exhibition booths will showcase company products, offering various attractions and opportunities to promote the companies.
Additionally, an exhibition on the history of sewage will be held. Through this exhibition on the history and process of sewage treatment, which is now taken for granted, visitors will have a chance to reconsider sewage treatment.
