Gyeonggi Office of Education Operates Family Counseling Program for At-Risk Students
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education will operate a family counseling program for at-risk students from the 15th of this month until the end of the year.
The family counseling program for at-risk students is a project that provides counseling and psychological and emotional support programs to students and their families during the COVID-19 situation to help students adapt normally to school life.
To this end, the Gyeonggi Office of Education has designated six institutions to operate the family counseling program.
Students or families who wish to participate can apply directly to the institutions, and participation is free of charge.
The designated institutions are Gestalt Heilen, Seoul Theological University Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation Korean Counseling Center, Arang Dolbom Center, Korea Education Association, Gonggam Yeondae (Sympathy Solidarity), and Painadown Cheongnyeondeul (Fine Down Youth).

Shim Han-su, head of the Student Life and Human Rights Division at the Gyeonggi Office of Education, said, "The family counseling program for at-risk students helps students overcome psychological or emotional crises caused by the COVID-19 situation and facilitates smooth school life," adding, "We will continue to support at-risk students and their families to ensure students grow up healthily."
