SSG Food Market Sells 100-Year Aged Balsamic Vinegar
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Emart's premium supermarket SSG Food Market (Cheongdam and Dogok branches) announced on the 14th that it will sell unique premium Chuseok gift sets.
SSG Food Market will showcase Italy's luxury balsamic vinegar "Giuseppe Giusti Reserve Cubic Balsamic Vinegar 100 Years" until the 21st. The selling price is 1.4 million won, and it is sold in an elegant wooden box decorated with a 24-carat gold-plated label.
Generally, balsamic vinegar refers to high-quality grape vinegar made from grape varieties in the Modena region of northern Italy using traditional methods. The longer the aging period, the deeper the aroma and flavor. Among them, the Giuseppe Giusti Reserve 100 Years is a limited production product made by the prestigious Italian Giusti family, which boasts a 400-year tradition, using traditional manufacturing techniques passed down since the 17th century.
This product is extracted in a limited quantity of about 100 bottles annually, and only about 10 to 20 bottles are imported into Korea, making it very difficult to obtain. It undergoes a process of moving through at least six or more wooden aging barrels once a year, characterized by a sweet and sour taste and strong fruity aroma.
Various unique premium gift sets have also been planned. Representative items include SSG Antibiotic-Free Jeju Hanwoo No. 2 and Ilbosketo Italian Salt and Pepper Set.
