December & Company Asset Management Fint, Launches 'Chuseok Allowance Event'
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] December & Company Asset Management, which operates the AI-based easy investment financial platform ‘Fint,’ announced on the 13th that it will hold the ‘Fint Chuseok Allowance Event,’ offering up to 100% of the payment amount back as Fint Money when using the Fint Card, in celebration of the Korean traditional holiday Chuseok.
The event runs from today until the 8th of next month. All customers using the ‘Fint Card’ during this period are eligible without any separate application process, and each card payment will immediately receive between a minimum of 5% and a maximum of 100% of the payment amount credited as ‘Fint Money.’
The Fint Card is a prepaid check card launched in July in partnership with BC Card, with no issuance fee or annual fee. It allows free account changes and usage according to the user’s account status through open banking linkage.
Without restrictions on previous month’s performance or accumulation limits, users can accumulate up to 0.7% of the payment amount based on yield and market condition forecasts, increasing benefits the more it is used.
The basic accumulation rate of the Fint Card is determined by the yield of Isaac, Fint’s AI engine robo-advisor testbed. If the previous day’s yield closed higher or flat, 0.3% of the payment amount is accumulated; if it closed lower, 0.2% is accumulated. Customers who manage investment funds through Fint receive an additional 0.1% accumulation benefit. Furthermore, if the user correctly predicts the market’s rise or fall for the following week, an additional 0.3% is accumulated, allowing a maximum accumulation benefit of 0.7% of the card payment amount.
The accumulated points from Fint Card payments can be checked in the ‘Change Savings Jar’ under the ‘Wallet’ category within the app. The accumulated points can be converted into Fint Money for use or collected over 10,000 KRW to be deposited and managed as actual Fint investment funds. ‘Fint Money’ is a service launched alongside the Fint Card in July, which can be easily recharged through open banking linkage and can be quickly used for investment fund deposits and withdrawals, transfers, and payments.

Jung In-young, CEO of December & Company Asset Management, said, “We prepared this event so that customers using the Fint Card can reduce the burden of payments and enjoy a more abundant Chuseok during the holiday season, when consumption tends to increase.” He added, “We hope this event provides more people with an opportunity to experience a new way in which everyday consumption naturally leads to investment, rather than stopping at consumption.”
