Jeju Fire Department Conducts 'Emergency Rescue Control Team Tabletop Exercise' for Large Fire Incident Scenario
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Jeongpil] Jeju Fire Station (Chief Ko Jae-woo) announced on the 12th that it conducted an emergency rescue control team tabletop exercise at the 'Jeju Art Center' on the 10th to enhance on-site response capabilities.
This tabletop exercise was conducted assuming the occurrence of a large-scale fire.
It focused on the issuance of response level 1 during a large fire, operation of the emergency rescue control team, establishment of disaster site command, and on-site response system.
Ko Jae-woo, Chief of Jeju Fire Station, said, "In large-scale disaster situations, the prompt and accurate execution of duties by emergency rescue personnel is very important," adding, "We will do our best to protect the lives and property of residents through regular training."
