20 Farms Nationwide Participated, Gathering Healthy Food in One Place
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Starfield Hanam announced that it held the 'Win-Win Farmers Market' from the 10th to the 12th to help expand sales channels for farms nationwide struggling due to COVID-19 and to provide an opportunity to promote high-quality agricultural products.
The 'Win-Win Farmers Market' was organized by Starfield Hanam after hearing that many agricultural products have been unable to find sales channels due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, and it was planned to hold a direct agricultural products market with the Middle-aged Women Farmer CEO Central Association. The Middle-aged Women Farmer CEO Central Association is an organization established to contribute to rural development through healthy food production and fair agriculture where producers and consumers trade on equal terms.
Twenty farms nationwide participated in the 'Win-Win Farmers Market.' Visitors could find local specialty products directly cultivated and manufactured by the farmers. Each farm also offered a variety of gift sets, including seasonal fruits for ancestral rites, mixed grains, ginseng, traditional Korean sweets (Hangwa), and Yulgok Seonsik (a type of grain powder), adding fun to the selection process.
