Kim Hee, POSCO Executive Director, Appointed as Advisory Member of the 4th National Science and Technology Advisory Council
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The National Science and Technology Advisory Council appointed four new advisory members for its 4th term on the 10th. They will serve a two-year term until September 2022.
The advisory council is composed of the Deliberation Committee (responsible for policy and budget review, 10 members) and the Advisory Council (presidential advisory function, 12 members). Following the appointment of eight members in April this year, four additional members have been appointed, bringing the total to 12 members serving as the 4th term advisory members.

Among the four newly appointed advisory members, one is a female member. The person is Kim Hee, Executive Director of Production Technology Strategy Office at POSCO. Also appointed were Lee Eung-gi, Director of Chungnam Technopark; Jung Woo-sung, Professor of Industrial and Management Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology; and Park Jong-gu, Head of the Nano Convergence 2020 Project Group.
