Hapcheon-gun Hosts 40,000 Steps Walking Event for Hangawi
Let's Walk Together with Hapcheon-gun Health Center for 'Hangawi'!
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Hapcheon County Health Center in Gyeongnam is encouraging physical activity, which has been reduced due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), to promote the health of local residents and is hosting the ‘Hangawi 40,000 Steps Walking’ event for the Chuseok holiday.
This walking event will be conducted in a non-face-to-face manner by using smartphones to join the ‘Hangawi 40,000 Steps Walking’ band in order to prevent COVID-19 infection and comply with quarantine rules.
The application period is from the 10th to the 17th, and the operation period is from the 18th to the 22nd. Participants must walk more than 40,000 steps (cumulative over 5 days / at least 8,000 steps per day) during the 5-day Chuseok holiday. The first 300 people who achieve the goal will receive a walking success item (Vitamin C).
Eligible participants are Hapcheon county residents aged 20 or older who own a smartphone. To participate, scan the QR code in the notice on the county office website or search for ‘Hangawi 40,000 Steps Walking’ on Band and join the Hapcheon County Health Center Band.
