Plan to Increase Sales of Specialty Products Linked with '1004mol'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Sinan County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Park Woo-ryang) has decided to operate the travel promotion SNS channel ‘Let's Go Sinan’ and the online specialty product sales site ‘Sinan1004 Mall’ in an organically linked manner.
According to the county on the 8th, they are planning and operating to connect the increasingly popular travel content of ‘Let's Go Sinan’ with Sinan specialty products so that travel can lead to increased income for residents.
This is drawing attention as a plan to leap into the sixth industry by combining agricultural and marine products (primary industry), their processed products (secondary industry), and travel (tertiary industry).
Sinan County opened the SNS channel ‘Let's Go Sinan’ in August 2019 and introduces delicious food and beautiful places in Sinan on blogs, Facebook, Instagram, etc., two to three times a week.
‘Let's Go Sinan’ has recorded a total accumulated view count of 551,699, with 28,441 views in 2019, 371,122 in 2020, and 152,136 as of last July, maintaining steady popularity despite the infectious disease situation.
Initially, each content had 500 to 1,000 views, but this has increased more than tenfold to 5,000 to 15,000 views. As of September, about 220 pieces of content have been posted, and this channel also plays a significant role as a cultural archive for Sinan County.
Sinan’s content is continuously introduced on N portal’s well-known travel guides ‘Our Neighborhood Travel Board’ and ‘Travel+’, greatly contributing to Sinan travel and Sinan County promotion.
Sinan County decided to link the recognition of ‘Let's Go Sinan’ with the sales of local agricultural and marine specialty products. They plan to create a purchasing power increase effect by organically linking ‘Sinan1004 Mall’, established in July, with ‘Let's Go Sinan’.
Starting with the upcoming Chuseok holiday, they will conduct a pilot operation in the second half of this year and aim to establish an ‘integrated operation’ system by next year.
