Mujugun Collaborates with Local Intermediary Organizations to Develop Urban Regeneration New Deal Projects
Military Urban Regeneration Support Center, Agreement to Establish Integrated Resident Service Platform
[Muju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Hanho] Muju-gun announced on the 8th that the Gun Urban Regeneration Support Center (Director Kim Hyecheon) has signed a business agreement with five public service intermediary support organizations in the area to establish an integrated platform for resident services in the region to successfully promote the Urban Regeneration New Deal project.
According to the county, the urban regeneration certified project is currently being actively promoted to transform long-neglected buildings in Muju-eup and the old welfare center in Mupung-myeon into new living SOC facilities, as well as the preliminary urban regeneration project of the ‘Snow Flower Village Goblin Market’ in Seolcheon-myeon, which tours major tourist attractions in Muju-gun.
In addition, in May, the application for the metropolitan public contest for the Urban Regeneration New Deal project in Seolcheon-myeon, a Taekwondo hinterland city, was completed, and at the end of September, they are also responding to the central public contest for the Muju-eup Urban Regeneration New Deal project.
Accordingly, Muju-gun has established a collaborative system among intermediary support organizations to flexibly promote the Urban Regeneration New Deal project.
The intermediary support organizations participating in the agreement include the Local JOB Center, Regional Self-Support Center, Muju-gun Healthy Family Multicultural Family Support Center, Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, and Youth Training Center.
The Urban Regeneration Support Center and the affiliated organizations agreed to cooperate in various program participation and collaboration related to the activation of resident communities and regional development in Muju-gun, as well as other business areas requiring mutual cooperation and support.
Furthermore, the Healthy Family Multicultural Family Support Center plans to continue cooperation for establishing healthy families; the Local JOB Center, Comprehensive Welfare Center for the Disabled, and Regional Self-Support Center aim to increase residents' income through job creation; and the Youth Training Center will focus on fostering healthy and creative youth.
