Samsung Electronics Introduces Metaverse-Based Job Counseling for the First Time in Second Half Open Recruitment

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Samsung Electronics will introduce job counseling using a metaverse (extended virtual world) platform for the first time in the recruitment of level 3 (university graduate) new employees in the second half of this year.
Samsung Electronics announced on the 8th that it will operate a one-on-one job counseling program using a metaverse platform until the 13th to communicate more actively with MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z) job seekers. This is the first time to use a metaverse platform to communicate with job seekers regarding recruitment.
Job seekers who enter the platform can receive one-on-one job counseling for the positions in the business divisions they are interested in and watch job introduction videos for each business division. Job seekers who wish to enter the platform can apply for each business division through the Samsung Electronics recruitment blog.
Earlier, Samsung Electronics and Samsung Display, Samsung SDI, Samsung Electro-Mechanics, Samsung SDS, Samsung C&T, Samsung Life Insurance, Cheil Worldwide, and other Samsung affiliates announced the recruitment notice for level 3 new employees for the second half of the year through the Samsung recruitment website the day before.

Applications will be accepted through the Samsung recruitment website until 5 p.m. on the 13th. Afterwards, the written test, the Job Aptitude Test (GSAT), will be conducted in October to November, and interviews will be held from November to December, with the final list of successful candidates to be announced.
