On the 7th, according to the police, the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul visited the homes of Gaseyeon cast members, lawyer Kang Yong-seok and former MBC reporter Kim Se-ui, to execute their arrest warrants. However, it was reported that the two resisted the warrant execution and are currently in a standoff.
A Gaseyeon representative conveyed the situation through YouTube, saying, "We ask viewers to join us in resisting." The warrant execution on this day was reportedly carried out because the Gaseyeon members, who had been sued for defamation and other charges related to their YouTube broadcasts, had been uncooperative with police investigations.
