On the 7th, Kwon Chil-seung, Minister of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, visited various spots in Yeongcheon Market in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, purchasing goods and engaging in conversations with merchants struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. The Ministry of SMEs and Startups held a shopping event to revitalize traditional markets in celebration of the start of the COVID-19 coexistence national support fund distribution and the Chuseok holiday. This event was organized as a follow-up measure to the business agreement signed on the 31st of last month between the Ministry and the National Public Officials Labor Union, aiming to encourage extensive use of the support fund at traditional markets and by small business owners.
