[Photo] Korea Rail Network Authority Transfers Railway Construction Know-How to Egypt
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Rail Network Authority announced on the 7th that it will conduct a training program titled "Strengthening Expert Technical Capabilities for Building a Self-Reliant Railway Technology Base" for 15 officials from the Egyptian Ministry of Transport (MOT) until the 12th. The training, in collaboration with the Korea International Cooperation Agency, aims to transfer field experience, know-how, and technology of the Korean-style railway industry to policymakers and technicians from developing countries. Considering the COVID-19 situation this year, the program is being conducted online. Egyptian officials are participating in the training via video conference.
