Real-Time Consultation with PB Experts via KakaoTalk... KB Securities Launches 'Prime Consultation Talk'
Subscription-Based Asset Management Service 'Prime Club' for Customers
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Customers using KB Securities' subscription-based asset management service will now be able to have real-time consultations with dedicated private bankers (PBs) via KakaoTalk.
On the 6th, KB Securities announced the launch of a new service called 'Prime Consultation Talk' for 'Prime Club' customers. 'Prime Club' is a type of subscription service where small investors and online customers pay 10,000 KRW monthly to receive asset management from financial experts (Prime PBs).
'Prime Consultation Talk' allows Prime Club customers to receive comprehensive asset management consultations in real time through KakaoTalk with a dedicated PB expert they directly designate. The specialized consultation areas include stocks and financial products.
Previously, customers had to visit branches or call to get consultations related to stocks or financial products. Now, real-time consultations are possible via mobile messenger.
Kim Yujin, head of KB Securities' Prime Center, explained, "From the early stages of launching the Prime Club service, customer surveys clearly showed demand for KakaoTalk consultations, so we have prepared for a long time. In particular, we did not spare investment in building consultation infrastructure, including establishing our own servers to protect customers' personal information."
Currently, the Prime Club service offers ▲ Today's recommended stocks ▲ A dedicated PB system that allows customers to designate their preferred PB or be connected to a suitable PB ▲ ‘Joorini Encyclopedia’ for stock beginners ▲ Prime Securities broadcasting, among other features. The number of subscribers has surpassed 300,000.
Prime Club membership can be subscribed to via the KB Securities website or the mobile trading system (MTS) 'Marvel.' Currently, new customers subscribing for the first time receive a 3-month free subscription benefit and financial product coupons for customers who apply for automatic payment.
