Kia Launches 2022 Stinger... Starting at 38.78 Million KRW
Added Exterior Color 'Ascot Green'... Design-Focused 'Acro Edition' Trim Also Released
[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] Kia announced on the 6th that it has launched 'The 2022 Stinger' and officially started sales.
The new Stinger is a model year update of the Stinger Meister, which was released in August last year. The 2022 Stinger features Kia's new emblem and adds a new exterior color called 'Ascot Green,' inspired by the Ascot Racecourse in the UK.
Additionally, Kia has applied popular features such as rain sensors and hood garnish as standard on the entry-level Platinum trim, while the higher trim 'Masters' comes standard with a 7-inch cluster, projection LED headlamps, and dynamic bending lights.
To further enhance the Stinger's dynamic and premium image, Kia is introducing a design-specialized trim called the 'Acro Edition' and a new rear spoiler. The Acro Edition, which means peak and achromatic, features 19-inch design wheels, black suede headlining, suede wrapping on the crash pad and door center trim, and chain volume pattern suede seats, elevating the interior and exterior luxury.
The 2022 Stinger's prices are 38.78 million KRW for the 2.5 gasoline turbo Platinum, 42.75 million KRW for the Masters, 43.88 million KRW for the Acro Edition, 46.78 million KRW for the 3.3 gasoline turbo GT, and 47.56 million KRW for the Acro Edition.
Meanwhile, along with the launch of the 2022 Stinger, Kia has prepared a purchase program called '1% Performance,' which offers up to 64% deferment of the vehicle price over 36 months with monthly payments of about 1% of the vehicle price, a special low interest rate of 2.5%, partial fuel cost support, and a used car guarantee service for individual customers.

A Kia official stated, "The 2022 Stinger enhances product competitiveness by adding luxury and dynamic elements while securing price competitiveness," and added, "We hope many customers will experience the value of a premium performance sedan through the purchase program we have prepared."
