[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Mayfield Hotel Seoul announced on the 3rd that it has prepared Chuseok gift sets filled with the chef's sincerity at Galbi specialty restaurant Nakwon and Korean traditional restaurant Bongraeheon in celebration of Chuseok.

As the non-face-to-face (untact) holiday atmosphere spreads due to COVID-19, the hotel explained that instead of visiting family and friends in person, people can express their feelings through gifts, and the hotel chefs have carefully prepared everything from ingredient preparation to packaging so that Chuseok table settings can be prepared non-face-to-face.

Nakwon offers the consistently popular "Premium Galbi Set" as a holiday gift until the 22nd. Carefully selected domestic Korean beef raised in the clean region of Gangwon Province is trimmed and marinated with a sauce matured using medicinal herbs, shiitake mushrooms, fruits, and honey. The domestic Korean beef marinated galbi (1.5 kg) is priced at 340,000 KRW, the US marinated galbi (1.5 kg) at 220,000 KRW, and the assorted set consisting of US marinated galbi (800g) and galbijjim (braised short ribs, 500g) is 170,000 KRW (tax included).

The Korean traditional restaurant Bongraeheon's "Hangawi Table Setting" is designed by the head chef to allow easy and convenient preparation of holiday dishes while considering taste and nutrition. It includes abalone galbijjim with matsutake mushrooms, known for their exquisite autumn aroma, savory bulgogi, domestic steamed yellow croaker, three types of premium jeon (pan-fried dishes: fresh cod jeon, zucchini jeon, mung bean jeon), seafood japchae, fried shrimp, and three-colored namul (seasoned vegetables: bracken, bellflower root, and aster scaber). It will be sold from the 7th to the 16th, and pickup is available on the 20th and 21st. The price is 450,000 KRW (tax included).
