'Public Big Data Youth Interns' to Support Public Institution Work Starting from the 6th
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 5th that it will deploy young interns who have completed the 'Public Big Data Youth Internship' specialized training course to institutions in need.
This year, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety conducted training for 1,000 young people selected from 3,300 applicants, overcoming a competition rate of 3 to 1. Participants enhanced their data analysis capabilities through 320 hours of specialized training, starting with customized preliminary education (1 month) according to skill level, covering an overview of public big data and systems, data collection, preprocessing, analysis visualization, analysis model utilization, and practical project execution.
Outstanding young people who developed their capabilities through the data analysis specialized training course will be deployed from the 6th to 226 institutions including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Gyeonggi Province, and the Road Traffic Authority, supporting public sector data analysis tasks for 4 to 6 months.
