People Power Party Finalizes 12 Candidates for 1st Cutoff Primary... Holds Meetings and Public Interviews

The People Power Party Election Commission conducted preliminary verification and screening of the 15 candidates who applied for registration in the presidential primary and announced on the 3rd that 12 candidates were selected to advance to the first cut-off round.
The 12 candidates are Representative Park Jin, former Army General Park Chan-joo, former Incheon Mayor Ahn Sang-soo, former Jeju Governor Won Hee-ryong, former Representative Yoo Seung-min, former Prosecutor General Yoon Seok-youl, Jang Ki-pyo, Chairman of the Gimhae-si Eul Party Committee, former Representative Jang Sung-min, former Board of Audit and Inspection Chairman Choi Jae-hyung, Representative Ha Tae-kyung, Representative Hong Joon-pyo, and former Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn (in alphabetical order).
They plan to voluntarily engage in volunteer activities in any form between the 4th and 10th. This is not mandatory. Activity videos will be uploaded to the party’s official YouTube channel 'Oreun Sori'.
The Election Commission will hold a meeting with the primary candidates on the 5th. Along with conducting the 'Fair Primary Pledge Ceremony,' they plan to listen to the candidates' opinions.
On the 7th, through the 'Change Korea, Three Major Promises' public report meeting, the candidates’ three major representative policy pledges and visions will be presented.
On the 9th and 10th, a 'Public Signal Open Interview' will be held, and on the 12th, an 'All-Day Live Talk Show' will take place.
