Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority Wins Grand Prize for Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Government Innovation Best Practice

[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Yeosu Gwangyang Port Authority (President Cha Min-sik) announced on the 2nd that its "Marine Plastic Collection and Resource Circulation Project" was selected as the grand prize winner at the 2021 Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Government Innovation Best Practices Competition.
The Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries Government Innovation Best Practices Competition was held to discover excellent government innovation cases, share them among institutions for wider dissemination, and promote government innovation achievements to the public.
This competition received a total of 70 outstanding innovation cases across three categories from the Ministry headquarters, affiliated organizations, and public institutions.
The Authority earned the honor of winning the grand prize in the collaboration category as well as the overall grand prize across all categories.
