View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Small and Medium Business Corporation (Chairman Kim Hak-do, hereinafter referred to as SBC) announced on the morning of the 2nd that it visited Linno Aluminum (CEO Lee Se-young) in Ulju-gun, Ulsan, and held an on-site meeting with the Fair Trade Commission (Chairman Cho Sung-wook, hereinafter FTC).
SBC and the FTC prepared the meeting to listen to the on-site difficulties of small and medium manufacturing companies located in Ulsan and to support innovative growth through active regulatory innovation.
At the meeting, businesspeople conveyed on-site voices such as management difficulties and system improvement matters and proposed policies necessary for regional industrial innovation. In particular, they requested policy support such as management stability support due to rising raw material and logistics costs, activation of accounts receivable secured loans, expansion of support for new growth companies with more than seven years of business experience, and exclusive shipping support for small and medium enterprises to promote exports.
Kim Hak-do, Chairman of SBC, said, "Despite the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, exports in the Ulsan region increased by 45.6% compared to the same month of the previous year, thanks to the efforts of small and medium enterprises in the automobile, petrochemical products, and shipbuilding sectors," adding, "SBC will continue to improve regulations at business sites and actively support the innovative growth of small and medium manufacturing companies, which are the capillaries of the regional economy."
