Paul Bassett to Eliminate Plastic Straws from All Stores
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Paul Bassett announced on the 2nd that it will eliminate existing plastic straws and use paper straws at all stores.
Paul Bassett introduced not only regular paper straws but also spoon straws, which are used when drinking ice cream or frappes topped on beverages, cut diagonally to enhance usability.
Paul Bassett continues to maintain the tumbler discount policy, which offers the highest discount rate among franchise cafe brands. By the end of September, drinkable lids that allow beverages to be consumed without straws will be introduced at all stores, and by the third quarter of this year, 30% of disposable items used in stores will be switched to eco-friendly materials.
